Have you ever wondered why some people consider the words of Jesus to be so important? Well, if you have, you are not alone. Even some of Jesus’ contemporaries had this same question. Today, as we continue in our study, we will be able to see how Jesus addressed some people who were questioning him. In the process we will also see why Jesus’ words are so important.
Here in chapter five Jesus heals a disabled person by telling him to pick up his mat and walk. The miracle itself was never questioned, but the Jewish leaders were obviously upset.
